Julie Masson, CCO for Nonprofits

Are you ready to join?
We're ready to welcome you in!

I've intentionally designed this space to be a professional development community for nonprofit communicators who want to learn how to think like a CCO—no matter what their title says—alongside a community of peers who get it.
This is not:
-
A place where consultants are pitching their services (like many Facebook groups)
-
A public platform where your boss or board members might see your posts (like LinkedIn)
This is:
-
A vetted peer community where in-house nonprofit communicators can ask candid questions, test out approaches before implementing them, and learn from others' experiences—without the pressure of needing to have all the answers in front of stakeholders.

If you’re not approved, your full membership fee will be immediately refunded. If you are approved, you will receive a link to join the Nonprofit Comms Club which is housed on the community platform Circle. This community can be accessed through the mobile app and a browser. I highly recommend you bookmark it on your laptop and download the app so that you can have instant access to it wherever you are.

Step 5 - Start Connecting and Getting the Support You Need!
Once you're in the community do these 3 things first:
1. Fill out your profile so the community knows who you are, where you work, and what comms role you play at your nonprofit.
2. Introduce yourself in the "Introduce Yourself" space.
3. Go through some of the other posts and see what people are talking about, see where you can weight in, and ask your own comms questions. It's time to get the help you're looking for so you don't feel so alone in your nonprofit comms role. We are here to help each other! So don't hesitate to ask. There is no question too small.
