Capital Campaign
Comms

You're trying to raise capital for something that matters: a new building, a specific project, or expanding your mission impact.

You need a communications strategy that will actually move your people to give.  When we work together, I'll first listen to understand what you're trying to accomplish, your funding goals and timeline, and what's at stake if the campaign doesn't succeed.

Then I'll build the comprehensive strategy, manage timelines, develop messaging and assets, and act as liaison between your leadership and creative team, whether that's your internal designers or a trusted team I've worked with on previous campaigns.

Your internal team is likely already stretched thin managing their regular workload. Instead of adding the burden of strategizing and planning a capital campaign on top of everything else, let me handle that while your team focuses only on execution: hitting send on emails, posting to social media, and sending personal outreach to prospective donors. The execution work fits naturally into what they're already doing. I handle the strategy and project management.

Together, we'll move your people from awareness to committed giving.

Julie Masson,
CCO for Nonprofits

Capital campaign communications is some of my favorite work because it's time-stamped, goal-driven, and high-stakes. There's nothing I love more than going after a big, audacious funding goal that I know will help a church or nonprofit accomplish more for their mission. Whether it's a new building that expands your reach or funding for a project that changes lives, I want to help you get there.

I've spent the last 18 years helping nonprofit and church teams communicate with clarity and purpose. I offer capital campaign support because sometimes you don't need another consultant who drops a plan and disappears, you need a partner. Someone to build the strategy, manage the moving parts, and work alongside your team to ensure the campaign actually moves people to give.

My goal is to leave you with a clear communications plan, the right assets, and a team that feels confident executing the strategy without needing me long-term. Let's raise the money you need to do more of what matters.

A Timeline to Hit Your Funding Goal

Strategic Campaign Support Without Agency Prices

Industry benchmarks suggest nonprofits should budget 5-10% of their campaign goal for all campaign-related expenses, including consulting fees. For a $500K campaign, that could mean $25K-$50K. My approach costs significantly less while still delivering comprehensive communications strategy and hands-on project management.

Investment: Pricing varies based on campaign size and scope, typically ranging from $3,000-$6,000 per month for the duration of the project (usually 6-12 months). I'll create a custom proposal after our discovery call.

Who This Is For

  • Churches and faith-based nonprofits preparing to launch a capital campaign

  • Leadership teams who know they need a communications strategy for the capital campaign but don't have the capacity (or a big enough comms team) to build one

  • Organizations with internal staff who need strategic direction and project management support

  • Leaders who want proven capital campaign expertise without agency prices

What Makes This Different

  • You get a complete strategy, not just a plan you have to figure out how to execute. I'm with you every step of the way.

  • I work within your budget and your team's capacity

  • Time-bound engagement means clear scope and no long-term commitment.

  • I bring experience from previous capital campaigns, so you're not starting from scratch.

  • My focus is singular: moving your people from awareness to committed giving so you hit (or surpass) your funding goal.
